Written by Lama Tsedrup Tharchin Rinpoche: From the colophon: “In the western United States of America, the doctrinal basis of the center, Pema Osel Ling, is the Dudjom lineage, the great treasure of the doctrine of the Nyingma tradition. The primary support there is a precious statue that represents the Wish-Fulfilling Guru and brings liberation upon sight. While a new wall was being built behind the statue, I perceived the inherent fault [of this life]—that everything is impermanent. The sadness that arose in my mind was the circumstance for writing these words of aspiration, in verses equal to the nine yanas, to actualize that which is endowed with dharmadhatu’s vajra that is invincible, changeless, eternal, sacred, self-arisen ultimate great bliss—[namely], the abiding nature of the original ground, knowing-awareness (rigpa), the very face of Samantabhadra. The one who is left behind, the old uncle, Tsedrup Tharchin, wrote this [in 2000]. I pray that through the blessings of my sovereign and glorious lamas, that its meaning will be accomplished.
